So I looked up John Eldredge and it seems that I'm somewhat correct. Or that I justified my warning to be watchful for false prophets, not that he is purposely trying to lead us astray, but that we should be weary for what we take to heart from his book. uhh I used wikipedia since it's a satisfactory source for me and I found a section of criticism.
